The Story
UNO Triple Play, first sold as a Walmart exclusive starting May 25, 2021, replaces the single discard pile with a battery-powered card-holder unit holding three separate piles with lights and sounds. On your turn the unit's display randomly selects which of the three piles you're allowed to play to, adding an extra layer of luck and forward-planning on top of the usual color/number matching.
Rule Twists vs. Classic UNO
Everything below is an official printed rule unless flagged otherwise.
Three Discard Piles
An electronic unit holds three discard piles at once; on each turn it randomly indicates which pile a player must play to, rather than there being one shared pile for everyone.
