The Story
UNO Super Mario launched in Japan in June 2016 through a partnership between Mattel and Nintendo, reskinning the deck with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and other series regulars, and adding a Mario-specific special rule to the standard ruleset. A separate Mario Kart-themed UNO deck followed in 2020, and a Super Mario Bros. Movie tie-in deck arrived in 2023.

Plays exactly like classic UNO — the deck is reskinned with licensed artwork but the underlying color, number, and action-card rules are unchanged unless a special rule is noted.
