The Story
Released May 23, 2022, this edition is built on UNO Flip!'s double-sided card mechanic rather than the classic ruleset: one side of the deck ("Real World") plays like standard UNO, while flipping the deck reveals an "Upside Down" side with tougher penalty cards, all illustrated with artwork from the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Rule Twists vs. Classic UNO
Everything below is an official printed rule unless flagged otherwise.
Standard Rules
Plays exactly like classic UNO — the deck is reskinned with licensed artwork but the underlying color, number, and action-card rules are unchanged unless a special rule is noted.
Real World / Upside Down Sides
The deck is double-sided like UNO Flip! — a FLIP card turns every card over, switching from the standard-difficulty "Real World" side to the tougher "Upside Down" side with harsher penalty cards.
