The Story

UNO Spin, designed by Janice Ritter and released by Mattel in 2005, adds a physical spinner wheel to the classic game. Twenty "UNO Spin" cards in the deck force the next player to spin the wheel instead of taking their normal turn, landing on outcomes like discarding every card of one color, drawing until a specific color turns up, or racing all players to shout "UNO Spin" first for a bonus discard. A Gameloft video game adaptation followed in 2010.

Rule Twists vs. Classic UNO

Everything below is an official printed rule unless flagged otherwise.

The Spin Wheel

Playing one of the 20 "UNO Spin" cards forces the next player to spin a physical wheel instead of taking a normal turn; the wheel's outcome (discard by color, draw until a color appears, and more) replaces their turn entirely.
