The Story
Released for UNO's 50th anniversary in 2021, the Retro / Decades (also sold as the "Iconic Series") line packages five separate decks, each styled after the packaging and card aesthetics of a specific decade — the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. Each deck is a full, standard 108-card UNO set on its own; the appeal is purely the nostalgic throwback design of each era rather than any rules change.
Rule Twists vs. Classic UNO
Everything below is an official printed rule unless flagged otherwise.
Standard Rules, Decade-Themed Design
Each of the five decade decks plays as full standard UNO; the only difference between them is the retro packaging and card-back styling for that decade.
