The Story
UNO Minimalista began as a fan concept: Brazilian designer Warleson Oliveira reimagined the UNO deck with a stripped-back, typography-forward look — black card backs and clean sans-serif numerals in place of the familiar UNO card art. The redesign went viral online, and Mattel turned it into an official retail product in under 30 days. Gameplay is standard UNO, with one deliberate deck change: eight Wild cards are included instead of the usual four.

Double Wild Cards
The deck includes eight Wild cards rather than the standard four, everything else about the ruleset is unchanged from classic UNO.
