The Story
UNO Elite, launched in 2024 through a licensing deal with the NFL and NFLPA, is structured more like a collectible trading card game than a traditional shedding deck: starter packs build a team roster from officially licensed player and team cards, with additional booster packs, foil treatments, and alternate-jersey sets sold separately. It represents a significant departure from classic UNO's fixed 108/112-card deck toward a collect-and-build format.
Rule Twists vs. Classic UNO
Everything below is an official printed rule unless flagged otherwise.
Standard Rules
Plays exactly like classic UNO — the deck is reskinned with licensed artwork but the underlying color, number, and action-card rules are unchanged unless a special rule is noted.
Collectible Trading-Card Format
Unlike a standard fixed UNO deck, UNO Elite is sold in starter and booster packs with officially licensed NFL team and player cards, foil rarities, and a roster-building element more akin to a trading card game.
