The Story
UNO Braille debuted October 1, 2019, developed in partnership with the National Federation of the Blind. Each card carries Braille markings in its corner indicating its color, number, or action, so blind and low-vision players can read their hand by touch and play alongside sighted players using an ordinary, unmodified rule set. NFB president Mark Riccobono called it "a truly meaningful moment" for the blind community when it launched.
Rule Twists vs. Classic UNO
Everything below is an official printed rule unless flagged otherwise.
Braille Card Markings
Each card's color, number, or action is printed in Braille in the corner, letting a blind or low-vision player identify their cards by touch. The rules of play are otherwise standard UNO.
